Fujitsu-GlobeRanger & Switlik Join Hands to Enhance Aviation Safety

Dallas: In a significant development, Aviation Week MRO Americas — Fujitsu-GlobeRanger has entered into a strategic partnership with Switlik Survival Products, a market leader and worldwide supplier of inflatable safety and survival gear for aviation, marine and military customers.

This collaboration combines Switlik’s vaunted, 97-year heritage of safety, compliance and quality in Aviation with GlobeRanger’s industry leading IoT technology to offer the market a unique solution.   

GlobeRanger’s Emergency Equipment Management (EEM) application has been adapted to Switlik products to simplify the ability to inspect and verify the configuration of critical, life-saving safety equipment – allowing airlines to manage and maintain safety equipment to a much greater degree of accuracy, while reducing time and costs by up to 99%. Using digital, leading edge technologies such as IoT, RFID, mobile and sensors, this solution also elevates airline’s inventory management capabilities, providing transparency into the lifecycle – allowing for greater scalability and predictability.
